Destiny (Al-Qadr)

5 verses, revealed in Mecca after He Frowned ('Abasa) before The Sun (Al-Shams)

In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful

TRULY WE REVEALED it on the Night of Determination. 1 And what will make you comprehend what the grand night 2 The night of Al-Qadr (Decree) is better than a thousand months (i.e. worshipping Allah in that night is better than worshipping Him a thousand months, (i.e. 83 years and 4 months). 3 Therein descend the angels and the Ruh [Jibrael (Gabriel)] by Allah's Permission with all Decrees, 4 It is peace till the dawning of the day. 5

God the Almighty always says the truth.
End of Surah: Destiny (Al-Qadr). Sent down in Mecca after He Frowned ('Abasa) before The Sun (Al-Shams)
