Destiny (Al-Qadr)
5 verses, revealed in Mecca after He Frowned ('Abasa) before The Sun (Al-Shams)
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
BEHOLD, from on high have We bestowed this [divine writ] on Night of Destiny. 1 What could let you know what the Night of Honor is! 2 The Night of Destiny is better than a thousand months: 3 in hosts descend in it the angels, bearing divine inspiration by their Sustainer's leave; from all [evil] that may happen 4 Peace it is until the emergence of dawn. 5
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
