Destiny (Al-Qadr)

5 verses, revealed in Mecca after He Frowned ('Abasa) before The Sun (Al-Shams)

In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful

BEHOLD, from on high have We bestowed this [divine writ] on Night of Destiny. 1 Ah, what will convey unto thee what the Night of Power is! 2 The grand night is better than a thousand months. 3 in it the angels and the Spirit descend, by the leave of their Lord, upon every command. 4 Peace it is until the emergence of dawn. 5

God the Almighty always says the truth.
