Proof (Al-Bayyinah)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
The unbelievers of the People of the Book and the idolaters would never leave off; till the Clear Sign came to them, 1 a Messenger (Muhammad) from God, reciting to them parts of the purified, 2 containing upright precepts. 3 And those who are vouchsafed the Book divided not save after there had come unto them the evidence. 4 And they were commanded not, but that they should worship Allah, and worship none but Him Alone (abstaining from ascribing partners to Him), and perform As-Salat (Iqamat-as-Salat) and give Zakat: and that is the right religion. 5 Surely those who disbelieve from among the followers of the Book and the polytheists shall be in the fire of hell, abiding therein; they are the worst of men. 6 But those who believe, and do righteous deeds, those are the best of creatures; 7 Their recompense is with their Lord; Gardens of Eden, underneath which rivers flow, where they shall live for ever. Allah is wellpleased with them, and they are wellpleased with Him. That is for he who fears his Lord! 8
