Proof (Al-Bayyinah)
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
The disbelievers among the People of the Book and the pagans disbelieved (in Islam) only after receiving divine testimony: 1 A Messenger from Allah reciting Purified Pages 2 Containing correct scriptures. 3 And those who are vouchsafed the Book divided not save after there had come unto them the evidence. 4 They were commanded only to serve God, making the religion His sincerely, men of pure faith, and to perform the prayer, and pay the alms -- that is the religion of the True. 5 Those who disbelieved – be they from among the People of the Book or among those who associated others with Allah in His Divinity– shall be in the Fire, and will abide in it. They are the worst of creatures. 6 (As for) those who believe and do good, surely they are the -best of men. 7 Their recompense with their Lord shall be Gardens Everlasting, whereunder rivers flow - as abiders therein for evermore. Well-pleased will be Allah with them and well-pleased will be they with Him, that is for him who feareth his Lord. 8
