Proof (Al-Bayyinah)
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
The unbelievers among the People of the Book and the idolaters would never desist until the Clear Proof came to them. 1 an apostle from God, conveying [unto them] revelations blest with purity, 2 containing upright precepts. 3 Nor were the People of the Scripture divided until after the clear proof came unto them. 4 And they were commanded not, but that they should worship Allah, and worship none but Him Alone (abstaining from ascribing partners to Him), and perform As-Salat (Iqamat-as-Salat) and give Zakat: and that is the right religion. 5 Those who disbelieved – be they from among the People of the Book or among those who associated others with Allah in His Divinity– shall be in the Fire, and will abide in it. They are the worst of creatures. 6 But those who believe, and do righteous deeds, those are the best of creatures; 7 Their recompense with their Lord shall be Gardens Everlasting, whereunder rivers flow - as abiders therein for evermore. Well-pleased will be Allah with them and well-pleased will be they with Him, that is for him who feareth his Lord. 8
