Proof (Al-Bayyinah)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
Those who disbelieve among the People of the Scripture and the idolaters could not have left off (erring) till the clear proof came unto them, 1 a Messenger (Muhammad) from God, reciting to them parts of the purified, 2 in which there are valuable Books. 3 And those who were given the Book did not become divided except after clear evidence had come to them. 4 And they were commanded not but that they should worship Allah, keeping religion pure for him, as upright men, and that they should establish prayer and give the poor-rate, and that is the right religion. 5 Indeed all disbelievers, the People of the Book(s) and the polytheists, are in the fire of hell – they will remain in it for ever; it is they who are the worst among the creation. 6 (As for) those who believe and do good, surely they are the -best of men. 7 Their reward with their Lord is 'Adn (Eden) Paradise (Gardens of Eternity), underneath which rivers flow, they will abide therein forever, Allah Well-Pleased with them, and they with Him. That is for him who fears his Lord. 8
