The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)

8 verses, revealed in Medina after Women (Al-Nesaa) before Iron (Al-Hadeed)

In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful

When the earth is shaken with its mighty shaking, 1 And the earth throws out its burdens, 2 when man asks, "What is happening to her?"; 3 On that day earth will narrate its news, 4 Because your Lord sent a command to it. 5 That day people will proceed separately to be shown their deeds. 6 and whoso has done an atom's weight of good shall see it, 7 And whoever does an atom's weight of evil will see it. 8

True are the words of God the Almighty.
