The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)
8 verses, revealed in Medina after Women (Al-Nesaa) before Iron (Al-Hadeed)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
When the earth is shaken with its (final) earthquake. 1 when the earth shakes off her burdens, 2 when man asks, "What is happening to her?"; 3 upon that day she shall tell her tidings 4 for your Lord has so directed it. 5 That day mankind will issue forth in scattered groups to be shown their deeds. 6 whoever has done the smallest particle of good will see it; 7 And whoso doeth ill an atom's weight will see it then. 8
