The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)
8 verses, revealed in Medina after Women (Al-Nesaa) before Iron (Al-Hadeed)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
When the earth is shaken with her (violent) shaking, 1 And the earth discharges its burdens 2 And man says, "What is [wrong] with it?" - 3 upon that day she shall tell her tidings 4 Because your Lord sent a command to it. 5 On that Day will all men come forward, cut off from one another, to be shown their [past] deeds. 6 And so, he who shall have done an atom's weight of good, shall behold it; 7 And whoso doeth ill an atom's weight will see it then. 8
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
