The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)
8 verses, revealed in Medina after Women (Al-Nesaa) before Iron (Al-Hadeed)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
When the earth is shaken with its mighty shaking, 1 And the earth throws out its burdens, 2 And man says, "What is [wrong] with it?" - 3 That Day it will declare its information (about all what happened over it of good or evil). 4 Because your Lord had inspired her. 5 That Day mankind will proceed in scattered groups that they may be shown their deeds. 6 So whosoever does good equal to the weight of an atom (or a small ant), shall see it. 7 And whoever does an evil deed equal to the weight of the minutest particle, will see it. 8
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
