Al-Zalzalah

The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)

8 verses, revealed in Medina after Women (Al-Nesaa) before Iron (Al-Hadeed)

In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful

When the earth is shaken by a terrible quake 1 And the earth throws out its burdens. 2 And man saith: What aileth her? 3 On that Day it shall proclaim its news, 4 for your Lord will have revealed to it. 5 That Day, the people will depart separated [into categories] to be shown [the result of] their deeds. 6 Then shall anyone who has done an atom's weight of good, see it! 7 and whosoever has done an atom's weight of evil shall see it. 8

God the Almighty always says the truth.
