Al-Zalzalah

The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)

8 verses, revealed in Medina after Women (Al-Nesaa) before Iron (Al-Hadeed)

In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful

When the earth is shaken with her (violent) shaking, 1 And the earth throws out its burdens, 2 And man will say: "What is the matter with it?" 3 On that day earth will narrate its news, 4 Because thy Lord will inspire her. 5 On that Day will men proceed in companies sorted out, to be shown the deeds that they (had done). 6 So whosoever does good equal to the weight of an atom (or a small ant), shall see it. 7 And whosoever hath worked ill of an atom's weight shall behold it. 8

True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
