The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)

8 verses, revealed in Medina after Women (Al-Nesaa) before Iron (Al-Hadeed)

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

When the earth will be shaken with a mighty shaking, 1 and the earth will throw up all her burdens, 2 And man says, "What is [wrong] with it?" - 3 upon that day she shall tell her tidings 4 for your Lord has so directed it. 5 Upon that day men shall issue in scatterings to see their works, 6 Then shall anyone who has done an atom's weight of good, see it! 7 And he who has done an atom's weight of evil shall see it. 8
