Al-Zalzalah

The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)

8 verses, revealed in Medina after Women (Al-Nesaa) before Iron (Al-Hadeed)

In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful

When the earth will be shaken with a mighty shaking, 1 And when the earth throws out its burdens, 2 the human being will say (in horror), "What is happening to it?" 3 on that Day will she recount all her tidings, 4 Because thy Lord will inspire her. 5 On that Day will all men come forward, cut off from one another, to be shown their [past] deeds. 6 Whosoever has done an atom's weight of good shall see it, 7 And whosoever hath worked ill of an atom's weight shall behold it. 8

Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
