The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)

8 verses, revealed in Medina after Women (Al-Nesaa) before Iron (Al-Hadeed)

In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate

When the earth is shaken with its violent shaking, 1 And the earth throws out its burdens, 2 the human being will say (in horror), "What is happening to it?" 3 On that day the earth will declare all (the activities of the human being) which have taken place on it, 4 for your Lord will have commanded her (to do so). 5 Upon that day men shall issue in scatterings to see their works, 6 And so, he who shall have done an atom's weight of good, shall behold it; 7 and whoever does an atom's weight of evil shall see it. 8

True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
