The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)
8 verses, revealed in Medina after Women (Al-Nesaa) before Iron (Al-Hadeed)
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
When the earth is shaken with its mighty shaking, 1 And the earth discharges its burdens 2 And man cries (distressed): 'What is the matter with her?'- 3 On that day she shall tell her news, 4 For your Lord will have commanded it. 5 That day mankind will issue forth in scattered groups to be shown their deeds. 6 And so, he who shall have done an atom's weight of good, shall behold it; 7 and whoever has done an atom's weight of evil, will also see it. 8
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
