The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)

8 verses, revealed in Medina after Women (Al-Nesaa) before Iron (Al-Hadeed)

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

When the earth will be shaken with a mighty shaking, 1 And the earth bringeth forth her burthens, 2 and Man says., 'What ails her?' 3 on that Day will she recount all her tidings, 4 for your Lord will have commanded her (to do so). 5 On that Day people will go forth in varying states so that they be shown their deeds. 6 And so, he who shall have done an atom's weight of good, shall behold it; 7 And he who has done an atom's weight of evil shall see it. 8

True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
