The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)
8 verses, revealed in Medina after Women (Al-Nesaa) before Iron (Al-Hadeed)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
When earth is shaken with a mighty shaking 1 and when the earth brings forth its burdens 2 And man says, “What has happened to it?” 3 That day she will relate her chronicles, 4 Because your Lord has commanded it. 5 That Day, the people will depart separated [into categories] to be shown [the result of] their deeds. 6 Then whosoever hath worked good of an atom's weight shall behold it 7 and whosoever has done an atom's weight of evil shall see it. 8
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
