The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)

8 verses, revealed in Medina after Women (Al-Nesaa) before Iron (Al-Hadeed)

Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

When Earth is shaken with her (final) earthquake 1 and when the earth brings forth its burdens 2 the human being will say (in horror), "What is happening to it?" 3 That day she will relate her chronicles, 4 for that her Lord has inspired her. 5 On that Day mankind shall issue in scatterings to see their deeds. 6 So, whoever does an atom's weight of good shall see it; 7 And whoever does an evil deed equal to the weight of the minutest particle, will see it. 8
