The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)
8 verses, revealed in Medina after Women (Al-Nesaa) before Iron (Al-Hadeed)
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
When the earth is shaken with its appointed tremor. 1 And when the earth throws out its burdens, 2 And man will say: "What is the matter with it?" 3 On that day earth will narrate its news, 4 for your Lord will have commanded her (to do so). 5 On that Day will all men come forward, cut off from one another, to be shown their [past] deeds. 6 And whoso doeth good an atom's weight will see it then, 7 And whosoever has done even an atom's weight of evil will behold that. 8
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
