The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)

8 verses, revealed in Medina after Women (Al-Nesaa) before Iron (Al-Hadeed)

In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful

When the earth is shaken to her (utmost) convulsion, 1 And the earth throws up her burdens (from within), 2 when man asks, "What is happening to her?"; 3 on that Day it will narrate its account, 4 Because thy Lord inspireth her. 5 That day mankind will issue forth in scattered groups to be shown their deeds. 6 And whoso doeth good an atom's weight will see it then, 7 And whosoever has done even an atom's weight of evil will behold that. 8

True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
