Al-Zalzalah

The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)

8 verses, revealed in Medina after Women (Al-Nesaa) before Iron (Al-Hadeed)

In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

When the earth is shaken with its (final) earthquake. 1 and it throws out its burden, 2 and the human asks: "What is the matter with it?" 3 on that Day will she recount all her tidings, 4 for that her Lord has inspired her. 5 On that Day mankind shall issue in scatterings to see their deeds. 6 So, whoever does an atom's weight of good shall see it; 7 and whoever has done an atom's weight of evil, will also see it. 8
