The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)

8 verses, revealed in Medina after Women (Al-Nesaa) before Iron (Al-Hadeed)

In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

WHEN THE EARTH quakes with her [last] mighty quaking, 1 And the earth throws out its burdens. 2 And man says: What has befallen her? 3 upon that day she shall tell her tidings 4 for your Lord will have commanded her (to do so). 5 On that Day will all men come forward, cut off from one another, to be shown their [past] deeds. 6 Whosoever has done an atom's weight of good shall see it, 7 and whoever has done an atom's weight of evil, will also see it. 8

True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
