The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)
8 verses, revealed in Medina after Women (Al-Nesaa) before Iron (Al-Hadeed)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
When earth is shaken with a mighty shaking 1 and when the earth brings forth its burdens 2 And man saith: What aileth her? 3 On that Day it shall proclaim its news, 4 Because thy Lord inspireth her. 5 On that Day mankind shall issue in scatterings to see their deeds. 6 And so, he who shall have done an atom's weight of good, shall behold it; 7 And whoever does an evil deed equal to the weight of the minutest particle, will see it. 8
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
