The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)

8 verses, revealed in Medina after Women (Al-Nesaa) before Iron (Al-Hadeed)

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

When Earth is shaken with her (final) earthquake 1 and when the earth brings forth its burdens 2 And man cries (distressed): 'What is the matter with her?'- 3 That day she will relate her chronicles, 4 Because your Lord has commanded it. 5 On that Day people will go forth in varying states so that they be shown their deeds. 6 Whoever has done an atom's weight of good, will see it 7 And whoso doeth ill an atom's weight will see it then. 8

True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
