The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)
8 verses, revealed in Medina after Women (Al-Nesaa) before Iron (Al-Hadeed)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
When the earth is shaken with its [final] earthquake 1 when the earth shakes off her burdens, 2 and the human asks: "What is the matter with it?" 3 On that Day it will relate all her news, 4 For that thy Lord will have given her inspiration. 5 On that Day people will come forward in separate groups to be shown their deeds: 6 So whoever does a good deed equal to the weight of the minutest particle, will see it. 7 And whosoever does evil equal to the weight of an atom (or a small ant), shall see it. 8
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
End of Surah: The Quake (Al-Zalzalah). Sent down in Medina after Women (Al-Nesaa) before Iron (Al-Hadeed)
