The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)

8 verses, revealed in Medina after Women (Al-Nesaa) before Iron (Al-Hadeed)

In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

When the earth is shaken with its [final] earthquake 1 and earth brings forth her burdens, 2 And man says, “What has happened to it?” 3 On that Day it shall proclaim its news, 4 Because your Lord sent a command to it. 5 On that Day mankind will proceed in bands, that they may be shewn their works. 6 and whoso has done an atom's weight of good shall see it, 7 and whoever has done an atom's weight of evil, will also see it. 8

True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
