The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)

8 verses, revealed in Medina after Women (Al-Nesaa) before Iron (Al-Hadeed)

In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful

When the earth is shaken with its violent shaking, 1 And Earth yieldeth up her burdens, 2 And man cries (distressed): 'What is the matter with her?'- 3 on that Day will she recount all her tidings, 4 Because thy Lord inspireth her. 5 On that Day people will come forward in separate groups to be shown their deeds: 6 whoever has done the smallest particle of good will see it; 7 And whosoever does evil equal to the weight of an atom (or a small ant), shall see it. 8
