The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)

8 verses, revealed in Medina after Women (Al-Nesaa) before Iron (Al-Hadeed)

In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful

When the earth is shaken to her (utmost) convulsion, 1 And the earth bringeth forth her burthens, 2 And man says, “What has happened to it?” 3 That day she will relate her chronicles, 4 for your Lord will have revealed to it. 5 Upon that day men shall issue in scatterings to see their works, 6 Whosoever has done an atom's weight of good shall see it, 7 And anyone who has done an atom's weight of evil, shall see it. 8
