The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)

8 verses, revealed in Medina after Women (Al-Nesaa) before Iron (Al-Hadeed)

In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful

When the earth will be shaken with a mighty shaking, 1 And the earth throws out its burdens. 2 And man saith: What aileth her? 3 That day it will narrate its annals, 4 for that her Lord has inspired her. 5 On that Day people will go forth in varying states so that they be shown their deeds. 6 So whoever does a good deed equal to the weight of the minutest particle, will see it. 7 And whoever does an atom's weight of evil will see it. 8

True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
