The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)

8 verses, revealed in Medina after Women (Al-Nesaa) before Iron (Al-Hadeed)

In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful

WHEN THE WORLD is shaken up by its cataclysm, 1 and when the earth brings forth its burdens 2 when man asks, "What is happening to her?"; 3 That day it will narrate its annals, 4 For that thy Lord will have given her inspiration. 5 On that Day will all men come forward, cut off from one another, to be shown their [past] deeds. 6 Whosoever has done an atom's weight of good shall see it, 7 And whosoever hath worked ill of an atom's weight shall behold it. 8

True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
