The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)

8 verses, revealed in Medina after Women (Al-Nesaa) before Iron (Al-Hadeed)

In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful

When the earth is shaken with its [final] earthquake 1 And Earth yieldeth up her burdens, 2 and man will cry out: “What is the matter with her?” 3 On that Day it shall proclaim its news, 4 Because your Lord had inspired her. 5 On that Day people will go forth in varying states so that they be shown their deeds. 6 Whosoever has done even an atom's weight of good will behold it; 7 and whosoever has done an atom's weight of evil shall see it. 8

True are the words of God the Almighty.
