The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)
8 verses, revealed in Medina after Women (Al-Nesaa) before Iron (Al-Hadeed)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
WHEN THE WORLD is shaken up by its cataclysm, 1 and when the earth brings forth its burdens 2 And man will say: "What is the matter with it?" 3 on that Day it will narrate its account, 4 for that her Lord has inspired her. 5 On that Day will all men come forward, cut off from one another, to be shown their [past] deeds. 6 So. he who has done an atom's weight of good shall see it 7 And he who has done an atom's weight of evil shall see it. 8
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
