The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)
8 verses, revealed in Medina after Women (Al-Nesaa) before Iron (Al-Hadeed)
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
When the earth is shaken with its appointed tremor. 1 And the earth throws out its burdens. 2 the human being will say (in horror), "What is happening to it?" 3 On that day she shall tell her news, 4 as thy Sustainer will have inspired her to do! 5 On that Day mankind shall issue in scatterings to see their deeds. 6 whoever has done the smallest particle of good will see it; 7 while whoever has done the smallest particle of evil will see it. 8
True are the words of God the Almighty.
