The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)
8 verses, revealed in Medina after Women (Al-Nesaa) before Iron (Al-Hadeed)
In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
WHEN THE EARTH quakes with her [last] mighty quaking, 1 and it throws out its burden, 2 and man will cry out: “What is the matter with her?” 3 That Day it will declare its information (about all what happened over it of good or evil). 4 Because thy Lord inspireth her. 5 On that Day mankind shall issue in scatterings to see their deeds. 6 So whosoever does good equal to the weight of an atom (or a small ant), shall see it. 7 and whoso has done an atom's weight of evil shall see it. 8
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
