The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)

8 verses, revealed in Medina after Women (Al-Nesaa) before Iron (Al-Hadeed)

In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace

When the earth is shaken to her (utmost) convulsion, 1 And the earth brings forth her burdens, 2 And man saith: What aileth her? 3 On that Day will she declare her tidings: 4 as thy Sustainer will have inspired her to do! 5 That Day mankind will proceed in scattered groups that they may be shown their deeds. 6 And so, he who shall have done an atom's weight of good, shall behold it; 7 and he who shall have done an atom's weight of evil, shall behold it. 8

True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
