The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)

8 verses, revealed in Medina after Women (Al-Nesaa) before Iron (Al-Hadeed)

In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace

When the earth will be shaken with a mighty shaking, 1 And the earth bringeth forth her burthens, 2 and the human asks: "What is the matter with it?" 3 upon that day she shall tell her tidings 4 For that thy Lord will have given her inspiration. 5 On that day men will return towards their Lord, in different groups, in order to be shown their deeds. 6 and whoso has done an atom's weight of good shall see it, 7 and he who shall have done an atom's weight of evil, shall behold it. 8
