The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)

8 verses, revealed in Medina after Women (Al-Nesaa) before Iron (Al-Hadeed)

In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

When Earth is shaken with her (final) earthquake 1 And the earth throws up her burdens (from within), 2 and man cries out, "What has happened to her?" 3 On that Day will she declare her tidings: 4 for that her Lord has inspired her. 5 That Day, the people will depart separated [into categories] to be shown [the result of] their deeds. 6 So whoever does a good deed equal to the weight of the minutest particle, will see it. 7 while whoever has done the smallest particle of evil will see it. 8

True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
