The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)
8 verses, revealed in Medina after Women (Al-Nesaa) before Iron (Al-Hadeed)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
When the earth is shaken to her (utmost) convulsion, 1 And the earth bringeth forth her burthens, 2 And man says, “What has happened to it?” 3 on that Day will she recount all her tidings, 4 for your Lord has so directed it. 5 On that day men will return towards their Lord, in different groups, in order to be shown their deeds. 6 So whoever does a good deed equal to the weight of the minutest particle, will see it. 7 And whosoever does evil equal to the weight of an atom (or a small ant), shall see it. 8
God the Almighty always says the truth.
