The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)

8 verses, revealed in Medina after Women (Al-Nesaa) before Iron (Al-Hadeed)

Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

When the earth is shaken with its violent shaking, 1 And the earth throws out its burdens, 2 And man cries (distressed): 'What is the matter with her?'- 3 On that day earth will narrate its news, 4 Because thy Lord inspireth her. 5 That day mankind will issue forth in scattered groups to be shown their deeds. 6 So. he who has done an atom's weight of good shall see it 7 And whoever does an evil deed equal to the weight of the minutest particle, will see it. 8

God the Almighty always says the truth.
