The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)
8 verses, revealed in Medina after Women (Al-Nesaa) before Iron (Al-Hadeed)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
WHEN THE EARTH quakes with her [last] mighty quaking, 1 And when the earth throws out its burdens, 2 And man will say: "What is the matter with it?" 3 On that day earth will narrate its news, 4 Because thy Lord inspireth her. 5 That Day, the people will depart separated [into categories] to be shown [the result of] their deeds. 6 So whoever does a good deed equal to the weight of the minutest particle, will see it. 7 and whoever does an atom's weight of evil shall see it. 8
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
