The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)
8 verses, revealed in Medina after Women (Al-Nesaa) before Iron (Al-Hadeed)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
When the earth is shaken to her (utmost) convulsion, 1 and the earth will throw up all her burdens, 2 And man says, “What has happened to it?” 3 That day she will relate her chronicles, 4 For that thy Lord will have given her inspiration. 5 On that Day mankind shall issue in scatterings to see their deeds. 6 Then whosoever hath worked good of an atom's weight shall behold it 7 And anyone who has done an atom's weight of evil, shall see it. 8
True are the words of God the Almighty.
