Al-Zalzalah

The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)

8 verses, revealed in Medina after Women (Al-Nesaa) before Iron (Al-Hadeed)

In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

When the earth is shaken with its violent shaking, 1 and earth brings forth her burdens, 2 and the human asks: "What is the matter with it?" 3 upon that day she shall tell her tidings 4 Because thy Lord inspireth her. 5 On that Day will men proceed in companies sorted out, to be shown the deeds that they (had done). 6 Then shall anyone who has done an atom's weight of good, see it! 7 and whoever has done an atom's weight of evil, will also see it. 8

God the Almighty always says the truth.
