The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)

8 verses, revealed in Medina after Women (Al-Nesaa) before Iron (Al-Hadeed)

In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful

WHEN THE EARTH quakes with her [last] mighty quaking, 1 And the earth brings forth her burdens, 2 And man saith: what aileth her? 3 upon that day she shall tell her tidings 4 For that thy Lord will have given her inspiration. 5 On that Day will men proceed in companies sorted out, to be shown the deeds that they (had done). 6 So whoever does an atom's weight of good will see it, 7 And whosoever does evil equal to the weight of an atom (or a small ant), shall see it. 8

True are the words of God the Almighty.
