The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)
8 verses, revealed in Medina after Women (Al-Nesaa) before Iron (Al-Hadeed)
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
When the earth is shaken with its mighty shaking, 1 And the earth discharges its burdens 2 and man cries out, "What has happened to her?" 3 On that Day it will relate all her news, 4 For that thy Lord will have given her inspiration. 5 On that Day mankind shall issue in scatterings to see their deeds. 6 And so, he who shall have done an atom's weight of good, shall behold it; 7 and whoever has done an atom's weight of evil, will also see it. 8
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
