The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)

8 verses, revealed in Medina after Women (Al-Nesaa) before Iron (Al-Hadeed)

In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful

When earth is shaken with a mighty shaking 1 and it throws out its burden, 2 And man says: What has befallen her? 3 On that day she shall tell her news, 4 For your Lord will have commanded it. 5 On that Day people will go forth in varying states so that they be shown their deeds. 6 And so, he who shall have done an atom's weight of good, shall behold it; 7 And anyone who has done an atom's weight of evil, shall see it. 8

Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
