The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)

8 verses, revealed in Medina after Women (Al-Nesaa) before Iron (Al-Hadeed)

In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful

When the earth is shaken with its appointed tremor. 1 when the earth shakes off her burdens, 2 and man cries out, "What has happened to her?" 3 That day it will narrate its annals, 4 Because thy Lord inspireth her. 5 On that Day mankind shall issue in scatterings to see their deeds. 6 Then whosoever hath worked good of an atom's weight shall behold it 7 And anyone who has done an atom's weight of evil, shall see it. 8

True are the words of God the Almighty.
