The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)
8 verses, revealed in Medina after Women (Al-Nesaa) before Iron (Al-Hadeed)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
When the earth is shaken by a terrible quake 1 and earth brings forth her burdens, 2 and the human asks: "What is the matter with it?" 3 That day it will narrate its annals, 4 for your Lord has so directed it. 5 On that Day mankind shall issue in scatterings to see their deeds. 6 And whoso doeth good an atom's weight will see it then, 7 And anyone who has done an atom's weight of evil, shall see it. 8
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
