The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)

8 verses, revealed in Medina after Women (Al-Nesaa) before Iron (Al-Hadeed)

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

When the earth is shaken by the shaking thereof, 1 And Earth yieldeth up her burdens, 2 And man says: What has befallen her? 3 On that Day will she declare her tidings: 4 for that her Lord has inspired her. 5 That day people will proceed separately to be shown their deeds. 6 So whosoever does good equal to the weight of an atom (or a small ant), shall see it. 7 And whoso doeth ill an atom's weight will see it then. 8

True are the words of God the Almighty.
